Marcell Washington

Initially a trialist last season, Marcell started as part of our under-18s, but quickly made the step up to become an established part of the under-21s side. A versatile left back with plenty of confidence and ability, he made eight appearances in the Premier League 2, including starts in both play-off matches.

Previously part of Chelsea’s academy as a left winger in his schoolboy years, Marcell has adapted to the left back role quickly and has represented England at both under-15 and under-16 age groups.
