Our home will play host to the first of the Selecao's two November friendlies in Europe, prior to their fixture against Tunisia in Lille on Tuesday, November 18.



Senegal are one of the very few national sides never to have lost against Brazil, securing a win and a draw in previous friendly matches. The two sides last met in 2023 in Lisbon, with a Sadio Mane brace contributing to a famous victory for The Lions of Teranga.

Brazil are no strangers to Emirates Stadium, having previously played nine times at the venue, with a goal from Neymar in their most recent visit in 2018 securing a 1-0 victory against South American rivals Uruguay. 



Brazil have already secured qualification to the 2026 World Cup, following victory against Paraguay in June. This maintains the nation's remarkable record of having featured at every edition of the competition.



Senegal’s recent victory over Mauritania in the African qualifiers secured their spot for the third time running, with the team seeking to better its quarter-final placing in 2002.



Our Brazilian international Gabriel Martinelli said: “For me, this match is extra special. I’ve been with Arsenal for over six years now and have many beautiful memories of playing at Emirates Stadium. Now, with the Brazil team coming back and playing here, it will be a very special occasion.”

“Brazil versus Senegal will provide football supporters with an occasion to see some of the world’s most talented men’s players on display here at Emirates Stadium. The match will also hopefully give our supporters the opportunity to cheer on Gabi Martinelli and Gabi Magalhaes in action in their national team colours. We look forward to welcoming everyone in November.” 



Senegal Head Coach Pape Thiaw, who played for the famous 2002 side, said: “It doesn’t get much bigger than playing Brazil at Emirates Stadium – and I know the game will be a real spectacle and we encourage Arsenal supporters and all lovers of football to come and watch.



“We are looking forward to testing ourselves against one of the world’s leading football nations as we start our preparations for next year’s World Cup.”



Tickets for the highly anticipated international match will be available from £23 for adults and £11 for under-16s (+ booking fees) .



They will go on sale initially to Arsenal members from 12pm UK on Thursday, October 16 and to the general public from 10am UK on Friday, October 17 - full ticket information.
