Zubi hit the ground running with a standout performance in our opening day win at Old Trafford against Manchester United, before scoring a stunning volley which won the Premier League Goal of the Month award against Nottingham Forest in September. 

The Spaniard continued to contribute with vital goals throughout the season, netting the winner in the first leg of our Carabao Cup semi-final against Chelsea before breaking the deadlock against a stubborn Sunderland side in February.
