Our pre-season training camp in Girona offers us a chance to see our first-team stars back in action, but also to get a glimpse of some names of the future.
A host of starlets were selected by Mikel Arteta for the first time, so as we prepare to take on Girona at the end of our week-long training camp, here's all you need to know about our academy players that made the trip:

THEO JULIENNE

- Born: 11/01/08
- Joined: 01/06/21
A versatile player, Theo Julienne has operated in defence and in midfield since arriving at Arsenal in June 2021. With a long throw also in his locker, Theo played 28 times across the 2025/26 season, netting his first goal against Leeds United. Theo also featured in our behind-closed-doors victory over MK Dons.
Theo is also capped at England under-16s and under-17s level as he continues to build his flourishing youth career.
KHARI RANSON

- Born: 13/09/07
- Joined: 30/08/17
Goalkeeper Khari Ranson signed his first professional contract with us last summer having started his journey in north London at under-10s.
The stopper, who initially started life as a midfielder before volunteering to go between the sticks and the rest is history. In 2025/26, the young goalkeeper made 12 appearances, featuring in Premier League 2 as well as making his debut in the UEFA Youth League for our under-19s.
JOSH OGUNNAIKE

- Born: 08/04/08
- Joined: 08/10/21
It's been an incredible few weeks for Josh Ogunnaike. Just a fortnight on from signing his first professional contract, the full-back is now on tour with the first team.
Featuring in our first pre-season match of the season against MK Dons, Josh is equipped to play left-back and centre-back, working his way up the age groups since his arrival in 2021. In 2025/26, Josh started 31 matches in the under-21s, under-19s and under-18s.Â
IFE IBRAHIM

- Born: 20/01/08
- Joined: 21/05/16
In January 2026, Ife Ibrahim signed his first professional contract with us and made his senior debut all in a matter of a few days.Â
The dynamic midfielder turned out in the second half against Kairat Almaty in the UEFA Champions League. Ife played 32 times in the academy last campaign and has already stepped up to the first team this summer, playing in our 3-0 win over MK Dons.
BRAYDEN CLARKE

- Born: 03/07/07
- Joined: 16/03/24
Another youngster to get on the pitch against MK Dons and on the plane to Girona is centre-back Brayden Clarke.Â
The defender has been capped for Wales under-19s on seven occasions and is the son of former Scotland international midfielder Nigel Quashie. Brayden turned out more than 20 times in 2025/26 for the academy, and has been named on the first team bench on one occasion against Bournemouth in May 2025.
DEMIANE AGUSTIEN

- Born: 28/07/07
- Joined: 19/07/25
Netherlands under-19 international Demiane Agustien enjoyed a positive first season within our academy having made the move from Derby County last summer.
The attacking midfielder netted five goals across 24 appearances, including a goal in the UEFA Youth League against Club Brugge. He's started this season brightly, providing an assist in the win over MK Dons.
CEADACH O'NEILL

- Born: 10/04/08
- Joined: 01/07/24
Talented winger Ceadach O'Neill made his Northern Ireland senior debut during the 2025/26 season. A total of 18 goals 30 academy games means it was a campaign to remember for the winger.
Ceadach has continued to flourish, scoring in the behind-closed-doors friendly before jetting out to Girona with Mikel Arteta and the rest of the first team.
As well as our seven newbies, there are some familiar academy faces who made their senior debuts last season. Marli Salmon, Tommy Setford, Andre Harriman Annous, Ismeal Kabia, Louie Copley and Max Dowman have also been part of our squad out in Spain.
