12 players across our men’s and women’s teams were recognised across various awards in Paris.

Starting with the Women’s Ballon d’Or, we had four players in the top ten, with Mariona Caldentey, Alessia Russo, Chloe Kelly and Leah Williamson coming second, third, fifth and seventh.

Emily Fox (25th), Frida Maanum (27th) and Steph Catley (29th) were also in the top 30.

In the Men’s Ballon d’Or, Declan Rice and Viktor Gyokeres were our representatives in the top 30 at 27th and 15th place respectively.

As for the Men’s Kopa Trophy, which focuses on the best players under the age of 21, Myles Lewis-Skelly came tenth.

We had two goalkeepers involved in the Yashin Trophy lists, with David Raya coming sixth and Daphne van Domselaar finishing fifth for the men’s and women’s trophies respectively.

Viktor Gyokeres scooped up the Gerd Muller Trophy, having scored more goals than anyone else in 2024/25 across matches for Sporting and Sweden.

Arsenal Women were crowned Women’s Club of the Year after lifting the UEFA Women’s Champions League trophy, while head coach Renée Slegers was nominated for Women’s Coach of the Year, which was won by England boss Sarina Wiegman.
