Renée Slegers has been nominated for the Barclays Women’s Super League Manager of the Season award.
We’re third in the WSL ahead of Saturday’s game against Aston Villa, but could finish second after our final three matches. Should we win the final three games, we will improve on last season’s points tally.
Defensively, we’ve been the best team in the league, conceding the fewest goals (13), five behind Manchester City, who have played two games more. Impressively, we’ve only lost once in the WSL in 2025/26 - away to City in October - meaning we’re currently on an unbeaten run of 14 matches. That matches our longest unbeaten streak in a single WSL campaign, which we first set in 2012.
For this award, Renée is going up against Andree Jeglertz, who has taken Man City to the title, and Martin Ho, who has delivered a fifth-place finish for Tottenham Hotspur.
Cast your vote now, with voting closes at 5pm on Wednesday.
You can also help Alessia Russo win the Player of the Season award, while we have three nominations in the WSL Save of the Season competition.
