The England international netted 11 times across all competitions last season, helping Chelsea win the UEFA Conference League and World Club Cup as well as return to the Champions League.

His threat with the ball at his feet made Noni a standout performer last term. No player in England’s top-flight made more progressive carries (carrying the ball at least 10 metres towards the opposition’s goal), with Noni averaging 6.1 per 90 minutes.

The 23-year-old's numbers were also impressive when carrying the ball five metres, which he averaged 10.7 per 90, the third-most among wingers in the league, while no Premier League player completed more ball carries ending in a shot.

Madueke’s incisive nature has given plenty of defenders tough afternoons, and once putting them on the back foot, he isn’t scared to let fly.

No player classed as a winger had more shots per 90 minutes than Noni who produced 3.5, level with Bukayo Saka, Antoine Semenyo and Mohamed Salah. Of those four, Bukayo played the fewest minutes with Noni the second fewest.

That shot level was only beaten by three players across the entire league, featuring Matheus Cunha, Cole Palmer and Erling Haaland.

The former PSV Eindhoven academy player also enjoys his fair share of touches in an opposition box, making him a constant threat throughout the 90 minutes.

Only Bukayo among our wide players was more menacing inside the area per 90 than Noni, with Jeremy Doku and Salah the only two to beat him across the remaining Premier League wingers.

Noni’s first Premier League goal came against us in May 2023 and has since scored 13 in the top-flight in 67 appearances, including a hat-trick against Wolves last campaign.

The winger’s expected goals in 2024/25 was 0.42 per 90 minutes, which puts him in third place amongst his wing contemporaries. He’s also third for non-strikers which excludes penalty xG.
