Our under-21s squad returned to the Sobha Realty Training Centre on Monday after a well-earned summer break, and you can see what they got up to in their first session of the new season with our academy training gallery.
Last season saw us maintain our 100% record of reaching the Premier League 2 play-offs after a dramatic regular season campaign. From Andre Harriman-Annous' 99th-minute winner against Wolves to Evan Mooney's sensational strike from the halfway line at Reading, there was plenty to enjoy throughout the season.
Our squad will be looking to improve on last season's 14th-place finish when the new PL2 season gets underway in August, but for now, focus turns to pre-season.
Our first test of 2026/27 will see us take part in our annual friendly against Boreham Wood at Meadow Park, home to the National League side and our under-21s. Following academy pre-season fixtures will be confirmed in due course.
